Chief Transformation Officer
Hoa grew up in Vietnam during the Vietnam War era. He escaped by boat alone as a 15-year old refugee seeking freedom from persecution. Hoa eventually came to the United States in 1982 and lived several years in the Illinois orphanage system before finding his long-term foster care family. As a person in recovery and a family member of a loved one in the mental health system, Hoa uses his life experiences to offer hope and inspiration that recovery is possible – no matter the odds. He spent more than 20 years in different direct service roles in behavioral health before joining PIR where he inspires and supports the company in its unwavering commitment to help people achieve recovery.
